Scarban silicone hand is designed especially for the treatment of scars on hands and fingers. The glove is made for scars that are caused by deep damage to the skin from burn wounds, surgery, trauma or skin disease. Follow the practical tips below. Please pay close attention to the sizing of the hand bandage. The size is determined by the outline of the hand:
Lubricate the hand (especially the fingers) that need treatment with a cream (e.g. ALHYDRAN medical cream). This allows the hand to slide easily into the Scarban silicone glove.
Flap the cuff of the Scarban silicone glove outward. As you put the glove on, gently pull the finger sections over your fingers with back-and-forth movements. Once the glove is fully on, the cuff must be folded back.
When removing the Scarban silicone glove, first fold the cuff outward. Pull carefully at the fingertips of the glove and gently remove it.

Swimming while wearing Scarban is not recommended. You are advised to remove the Scarban sheets before swimming. We recommend re-applying Scarban Velvet Touch Gel immediately after swimming.
